Football tournament ”From the Backyard to the Stadium – Tymbark Cup”championship in Cat. U-8,U-10,U-12”From the Backyard to the Stadium ‒ Tymbark Cup” is the largest, not only in Poland but also in Europe, football tournament for primary school pupils.
The Final Games of the tournament is played on the National Stadium in Warsaw, immediately before the Polish Cup final.
The Tournament is played in three age categories: U-8, U-10 and U-12.
The main goals of the Tournament are the promotion of football and active spending among children, the emergence of football talents and the fulfillment of children's dreams.
2 million children took part in all editions in total. The games cover all of Poland – all municipalities, poviats and provinces – and end with the final matches at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw, directly before the Polish Cup final. The hallmark of the Tournament is a high level of sports and a huge dose of positive football emotions, as well as an exceptional main prize – Tymbark Cup, Polish Champions title and a meeting with Polish National Team footballers along with a trip to the White-Red match.
The Tournament was the beginning of a football adventure for over 50 Polish Representatives of various age categories: Arkadiusz Milik, Piotr Zieliński, Tomasz Kędziorz, Bartosz Bereszyński, Bartosz Salamon, Marcin Kamiński and Paulina Dudek, who this year became a player of the famous Paris Saint-Germain.
The organizer of the matches is the Polish Football Association, and the main sponsor for the last 13 years is Tymbark.
From 2016 Tymbark Cup is also played in Romania.
