The aim of the campaign is to educate and increase safety of children who start their school education. The programme focuses on potential risks, shows children and their parents the consequences of dangerous behaviour at home, school and on the road. Every participating school receives special free educational materials prepared by methodology specialists. Based on the materials, they prepare classes on safety and grant a certificate of an honourable “Puchatek Safety Club” member.
2014/2015 is the 6th edition of the programme. In November 2014 primary schools took part a Nationwide Test of Knowledge about Safety. It is the unique initiative in Poland, when children’s knowledge about safety was tested so widely.
